Pamela Bach, Actor and Ex-Wife of David Hasselhoff, Dies at 62

Pamela Bach, known for her acting career and as the former spouse of “Baywatch” icon David Hasselhoff, passed away at age 62.

According to the Los Angeles medical examiner’s office, her death occurred on Wednesday and was ruled a suicide. Bach, who sometimes went by Pamela Hasselhoff, had roles on shows like “The Young and the Restless.” It was on the set of Hasselhoff’s hit series “Knight Rider” where she first crossed paths with the man who would become her husband. She later joined him onscreen with a guest spot on “Baywatch.”

The couple tied the knot in December 1989 and welcomed two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, into the world. Their marriage ended when Hasselhoff initiated divorce proceedings in January 2006. The breakup turned bitter, with Bach alleging domestic violence by Hasselhoff. Around that time, a widely publicized video surfaced of Hasselhoff, visibly intoxicated and eating a burger, filmed by one of his daughters. This led to a brief suspension of his visitation rights, though they were reinstated after two weeks. Hasselhoff later admitted the footage captured him during a lapse in his struggle with alcohol but refuted claims of abuse.

A request for comment sent to David Hasselhoff’s representative has yet to receive a response.

In 2018, Hasselhoff exchanged vows with model Hayley Roberts.
